It was scary sight for the crowd at the 35th Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, when True Blood star Stephen Moyer's racecar flipped over during the qualifying rounds. Fans watched as Moyer's car slid into the side tire barrier, spun 360-degrees and landed on its back tires, as he approached his seventh lap of the celebrity race.
"I was getting quicker and quicker and quicker and I was braking later and later and later. It was total driver error," Moyer, 41, explained. "It was a surreal experience. It felt like a roller-coaster ride when my car flipped."
The actor walked away from the crash without a scratch -- and even went on to win the race! Beating out other celebs like Brian Austin Green and Kevin Jonas, Anna Paquin's costar/husband took home a check for $15,000, which he planned to donate to the charity Racing for Kids.
"I want to apologize to the rest of the drivers for ruining everyone's qualifying session, but I really wanted to get the money for the kids," Moyer told the Press Telegram.
We're all for celebs doing good for charity, but must they be daredevils? We'd really prefer if they would just stick to signing autographs.
